At Spiritual Care Consultants, you will meet with a consultant whose mission is to provide you with both a short term and long
term spiritual care plan. We assist you physical and emotional recovery by connecting you to faith and strengthing any existing ties between you and your church community. Our Consultants are both a support to individuals and the the medical and corporate communities across Michigan.

What Can Affect Your Health?

Today’s economy and the ever-increasing demands placed on
individuals can raise possible issues that may affect your health,
including and not limited to, anger, forgiveness, fear, guilt, loss, grief, stress, worry, insecurity, bitterness, low self-esteem, and conflict.

Making an appointment

If you have been given an emotional medical diagnosis or are dealing with any issues that might affect your health (self-
referral or the referral of a child), you are eligible to make an
appointment with us.

We will assist in balancing your mind, body, and spirit by providing 3 free counseling sessions on any one issue and another 3 sessions, if needed, by referral of your primary care or participating doctor.

*If you do not have a current primary care physician, we can also assist in the referral of one.

What to expect

When you first meet with one of our Spiritual Care Consultants, the first day of your session will kick-off with a reminder phone call. When you arrive for your appointment, you will check in with the receptionist at the window and advise them you are here to see a Spiritual Care Consultant. You will be asked to take a seat in our main reception room before your consultant comes to personally greet you for your session. There are also two forms that you will complete at this time, with the final evaluation form being administered at your last session. As a patient of Spiritual Care Consultants, you will receive six hours of free sessions as we provide healing for your emotions that have caused you pain, and new pathways for your mind, so you can live in health and wellness.

* A Spiritual Care Consultant will also check-in with you at 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 1 1/2-2 years, and 2 1/2-3 years to make sure you are still on your path of emotional and spiritual recovery. Our goal is to see that each of our patients are successfully using the tools they have received and to see if they need any additional tools or resources.
